Jim Yelton is a Squamish Nation member and is a talented artist and well-known for is talking sticks.

The Chiefs of each tribe or the heads of social groups, each carved their crests, family tree and legends of their Aboriginal territories. This Talking Stick "-tih-CHANT" symbolizes their privilege and authority at all Potlatches.
