Khot-La-Cha Art Gallery and Gift Shop owned and operated by Nancy Nightingale, is a known retail outlet situated on the Capilano Reserve in North Vancouver, B.C. In July of last year Nancy built a new two-story newly renovated Longhouse style" Gallery and it is considered a top tourist destination for Vancouver. Khot-la-cha features items created by some of British Columbia's finest Aboriginal artists and crafts people: most of the artwork and crafts are made by the members of the Squamish 1st Nation.

Nancy is highly regarded and recognized in the local as well as the national community, awarded with the runner up Canadian Women Entrepreneur of the Year in 1994, member of the Indian Arts & Craft Association (IACA), co founding executive member of Canadian Aboriginal Business and Trade Corporation and is recognized on a large poster distributed across Canada by ABC as Aboriginal Business Leadership" In the past 7 years Nancy has expanded to exporting to the United States, Asia and European Countries. She was one of four participants to exhibit at the "Tendency Frankfurt Fall Fair for two years. Also she exhibits with the Indian Arts and Crafts Association in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado. February 2002 Nancy, was one of twenty women Entrepreneurs across Canada to attend the Canadian Women in Business Trade mission to England and Ireland. Nancy's Main goal is to express and keep our native culture alive through our native crafts, keeping our family crests and stories active so it will continue to the next generation.
